Skeeter syndrome is a severe allergic reaction to mosquito bites, specifically to mosquito saliva.

It is much more than just an annoying itch. Skeeter syndrome can cause intense itching, large swellings and blisters, redness, soreness, and sometimes a fever or fatigue that can last for days or weeks.

Having laser tattoo removal may cause the reaction to return if you have recently suffered or may cause healing to be slower.

Always let us know during your consultation if you have previously suffered skeeter syndrome.
